二、Features of shaftless screw conveyor:

Compared with the traditional shafted screw conveyor, the shaftless screw conveyor has the following outstanding advantages due to the design of no central shaft and hanging bearing, and the use of integral steel screw with a certain flexibility to push materials:

1. The spiral has super wear resistance and durability, and has a long service life.

2. Strong anti-winding: no central shaft interference, which has special advantages for conveying belt-like and easy-to-wind materials to prevent accidents caused by blockage.

3. Good environmental performance: the use of fully enclosed conveying and easy-to-clean spiral surface can ensure environmental sanitation and the conveyed materials are not polluted and leakage.

4. Large torque and low energy consumption: because the spiral has no shaft and the material is not easy to block, it can run at a lower speed, drive smoothly and reduce energy consumption.

5. Large conveying capacity: the conveying capacity is 1.5 times that of the traditional shafted conveyor of the same diameter, and the maximum is 40m3/h. The conveying distance is long, up to 25 meters, and can be installed in multi-stage series according to the needs of users, and the materials can be transported over a long distance.

6. Compact structure, easy operation, economical and durable, with very little maintenance and low maintenance cost.

三、The structure of a shaftless screw conveyor

This product is mainly composed of a drive device, a head assembly, a casing, a shaftless spiral, a tank liner, an inlet, an outlet, a cover (if necessary), a base, etc.

1. Drive device: Cycloidal pinwheel reducer or shaft-mounted hard tooth surface gear reducer is adopted, and the driving device should be set at the end of the discharge port as far as possible during the design, so that the spiral body is in a tensile state during operation.

2. The head is equipped with a thrust bearing, which can withstand the axial force generated when conveying materials.

3. Chassis: The chassis is U-shaped or O-shaped, with a rain-proof cover on the upper part, and is made of stainless steel or carbon steel.

4. Shaftless spiral: the material is stainless steel or carbon steel.

5. Tank lining: the material is wear-resistant plastic plate or rubber plate or cast stone plate, etc.

6. Inlet and outlet: there are two kinds of square and round, and the form of inlet and outlet is generally determined by the user.

The working principle of shaftless screw conveyor

The shaftless screw conveyor uses the rotating spiral blades to move the material and carry out the screw conveyor transportation, so that the force that the material does not rotate with the screw conveyor blade is the weight of the material itself and the frictional resistance of the screw conveyor shell to the material. The spiral blades welded on the rotating shaft of the screw conveyor, the surface type of the blade has solid surface type, belt surface type, blade surface type and other types according to the different conveyed materials. The screw shaft of the screw conveyor has a thrust bearing at the end of the material movement direction to give the axial reaction force of the screw with the material, and when the machine length is long, the middle hanging bearing should be added.
